There are loads of things that are good in this. The kid actors, each and everyone of them whom are unknown to me, are real talented bunch and I enjoyed watching them especially those Losers Club members. The humours, from those kids, gave me lots of good chuckles, some gave me good laughs. The scare scenes were really terrifying, not all but most of em. And the final and very small touch to end the story, before the end credit, revealing "Chapter One", made me looking forward for the next one, because from that it actually confirmed that there will be.

Some few things that I felt kind of a letdown but not too much; there were loads of CGI that sometimes made some of the scenes were more like a sci-fi films instead of a horror film. The story was a bit too long, I was waiting for far too long for it to actually starts to explain the IT, the history, etc etc.

I can't really compare it to the original IT or the novel, because I can't really remember the old ones. And I haven't read the book. It doesn't matter. Despite some of the flaws, this one is one damn good horror film. Easily becomes one of my favourite.
