What do you guys think of Face/Off?

It was, in my opinion, a classic. Classic 90s action flicks, lots of gunfights, explosions and car chases (but it was boat chase in this one). The only thing I didn't like was, it was overlong.

I just read a news that a reboot is in development. They already have a writer, but not yet the casts and a director. What do you guys think about this news?

It was ok, but nothing special. A reboot of it just doesn't make sense tbh.

{Ed001's Note - same here. I don't get this. Average film at best with a crap story why bother?}

Glad u both feel the same, even though I for one really like the film.

Too many reboots and remakes are going on. Most of the times they ended up making them worst and not better.

{Ed001's Note - I hate reboots and remakes, which is why I can't stand Tarantino as 'homages' are just poor copies. Though sometimes they can make a better version, 99% of them are just trash. Though Bollywood would be in trouble if reboots and remakes were banned!}

Its an alright film. We all know Ed loves Nic Cage. Its another one of those that has an interesting idea but you wonder at the casting.

{Ed001's Note - I prefer Cage to Travolta. That man makes my skin crawl.}

Travolta makes a decent villain. He's the best thing in broken arrow. Face/off would've been better with another actor in the Cage role.

I also think he was good as the bad guy in Broken Arrow. Thing is, most of his other films are crap. The recent one, and I haven't watch it yet, titled Speed Kills. That's a really crap title.

He's made some really bad films. Wasn't he told to do some of them by that scientology cult he's in?

{Ed001's Note - I think it is more he wanted to do them for the cult as he hero worships L Ron Hubbard.}
