I don't know what's considered necessary to make a movie Australian,but I liked Gallipopi,Chopper was pretty good,I lovedthe crocodile dundees when I was younger. My mother loved Muriels wedding,though I hated it,I think wolf creek was ok but nothing special. Thos movies spring to the top of my head

{Ed001's Note - I never even thought of them as Aussie movies. I remember sneaking in to the cinema to see the first Croc Dundee.}

Yes that's it with the martial arts priest.

{Ed007's Note - On the subject of Aussie films have you guys seen Romper Stomper (1992) with a young Russel Crowe about a racist anti-Asian gang? There's also a New Zealand made film called Once Were Warriors (1994) about a gang of tough as coffin nails Maoris, it stars Temuera Morrison who went onto play Boba Fett's father, as well as the father of ALL Stormtroopers, Jango Fett in the Star Wars prequels.
Be warned though they are a bit gritty and fully deserve their 18 rating.}

https://goo.gl/4yNmcY

After looking into it, talking to folk and dithering for weeks I decided that was the best for me personally and me and my Mrs are delighted with it. A quick Google search and following the right people on social media and I was in about it like a tramp eating chips.}
