Jack reacher (2012)

Only got round to watching this now as was put off my all the bad reviews and not a big Tom Cruise fan. I was pleasantly surprised at what a good film it was. Great and clever story. Old school action scences with a great old school car chase to boot no too unrealistic stunts that are typically in Cruise movies, like jumping from planes etc. I think it got a lot of bad reviews as the book lovers where upset that the main character who is supposed to be 6'5 is played by Tom Cruise. 8/ 10
Will watch number 2 this week.

{Ed001's Note - did it have bad reviews? I don't remember. I do remember it being an enjoyable film but the second one is just like watching it again but not so well done.}
