Two films I want to review that I have seen recently - firstly King Arthur the Guy Ritchie reboot. It was almost a dark fantasy reboot of Snatch or Lock Stock at times! Depending on how you felt about those films will decide whether you enjoy this version of King Arthur or not.

Personally, I loved Lock Stock and Snatch, so I really enjoyed this movie. Being very interested in Arthurian legends anyway (I was named after one of the knights) I was really keen to see what Ritchie would do with it.

While it is clearly an origin movie to launch a franchise, it is still a very watchable film in its own right.

It's interesting that the guy from Sons of Anarchy is playing the lead.

{Ed001's Note - is it? I can't say that really interested me to be honest. Apart from the talk about him being constantly mistaken for Tom Hardy, which I found distracting as I was trying to see the similarities for part of the film.}

Snatch, What a movie that was. Just pure masterclass.

{Ed001's Note - one of the best movies ever. To think Jason Statham was just an unknown before Ritchie decided to put him as the star of his films.}

Stephen Graham as Tommy has turned into one of the best and underated around

{Ed001's Note - shame he is a bit of a knob as a person, because he is a truly excellent actor. But working for the S*n when you are a Scouser with no need of money is about as low as you can get.}

Dont worry just realised what you meant, I don't read it so was not aware.

{Ed001's Note - nor do I, but he was given a lot of grief over it.}
