Deadpool 2, great film and so many Easter eggs. Won’t spoil it but I left that feeling it might just tie in with the other marvel films, I know you’ve seen it Ed001 do you think it’s possible or am I way off?

{Ed001's Note - it certainly referenced them, not sure if it actually ties in though. I would love that to be the case though, as it would mean there is a possibility of Deadpool popping up in the other movies!}

That's what I'm hoping for but I think the tech at the end of Deadpool could be used for Avengers 4. So the connection is there between the two sets of films (MCU and Fox's marvel films) ready for when the Fox/Disney merger is finished.

Which could then lead to a Deadpool/Spiderman buddy cop movie!

{Ed001's Note - that would be a thing of beauty! Could you imagine Spidey introducing DP to his aunt....}

Would Deadpool work in the mcu? The deadpool films/ character have rather a unique style especially with the constant breaking of the fourth wall.

{Ed001's Note - good point. They are probably left as they are but with just a few of the juicier characters allowed to drop into his universe.}

I just want him included within the universe as that would be an open door for the xmen etc also thing using the tech at the end of deadpool in infinity war would be an easy way to do it.

But I wouldn’t include DP in infinity war for instance but would include MCU characters in DP films. The relationships he could have with the likes of Spidey or rocket would be incredible.

Saw a screen junkies video after the first came out talking about how deadpool could cameo in the pg13 xmen/marvel universe.

The consensus was that he would be best used in the same way he is in comic crossovers, that he still breaks fourth wall but instead of it being shot as banter between him and the audience, it is a wider shot with the other characters reacting to him talking to thin air.

Another great idea they had was that he would be building up to dropping the f bomb but be beaten to it by wolverine. This would then lead into a bleep filled rant.

I think it would be hard to include him but could be done.

{Ed001's Note - it has been made easier by the success of Logan. Now they know they can be more adult and still succeed.}

I feel Logan has opened the door for harder rated xmen/marvel films but I can't see the studios commiting to a hard r crossover film.

I feel the problem, especially with the mcu, is the alienation of the majority of the fan base. As a comic book nerd in my 30s I always feel like I'm the target audience of these films but my head tells me otherwise.

{Ed001's Note - they are missing the fact that the majority of their fan base are older now if that is true. Most are in the 30s and 40s, even older, who grew up reading the comics as kids and never stopped. Most of the comics grew up with them.}
