Finally got to watch the joker and what a great movie.

The performance to get you feeling sorry for the joker is brilliant and the little nods to the greater batman story were clever but not overdone.

I personally think this is the direction DC should of gone, marvel have done so well with their universe that DC need to do something different and a darker tone to their films is where they seem to naturally excel.

This joker trumps letos but I think that’s because it had time to develop the character.

Hopefully they have another one in the pipeline but if not then the work this film did for the character shouldn’t be wasted.

If you haven’t seen it I would definitely recommend.

Bloody great movie. Future classic for sure. Phoenix was brilliant in it.
