Bombshell - really enjoyed this one and some excellent performances from from Robbie, Theron, Kidman and an unrecognisable John Lithgow. Def worth watching.

It's all about the sexual harassment that women endured at Fox News. Shows how the first one stood up and the rest followed, kinda the start of the me too movement. Wasn't sure it would be my kinda film but was honestly excellent, the performances were great, really enjoyed this one

Nah not yet - watched the 9th one, each one gets crazier than the last lol - space in a car? Really?
I really enjoyed the 5th one personally - big heist, flying through the streets pulling a safe? Fun stuff haha - they are just getting madder and madder these days
17 Apr 2023 14:06:40 I am thoroughly looking forward to this one I love Donnie Yen, and like you Tris, think Ip Man is amongst his best work Dacascos was class in the last one, I like him as well I've heard Scott Adkins is in this one? But in a fat suit? Is that true and does it work? He is amazing in some of the fight films he has been in, brilliant in Ip Man 4 and is just class as Boyka Like I said, cannot wait to see this one - so far they have been great and I do love martial arts films - just need to get Michael Jai White amped up as a villain too!
{Ed001's Note - the Adkins role is an odd one. It didn't really make the most of his martial arts skills but it was an interesting character. I would have liked to have seen him as the main bad guy, back to his Boyka best, rather than that side role he got. Apparently it was Yen who desperately wanted him in, so he was kind of shoehorned into a role just to get him in.
I just hope Continental lives up to the first 4, not sure when it is due out, but I will defo go to watch that too.}
17 Apr 2023 14:02:19 Was alright and Patterson was ok in the role - honestly thought he would be awful tbh, but not a patch on the Nolan trilogy for me, I mean can't touch any one of them All in all was decent enough, bit long though and personally I was a bit disappointed as I had read what people thought of it, the hype and it just didn't live up to it

I did, it's a long film mind but thought overall that it was pretty good.
Some good character development and the villains looked much better too. The story flowed a lot better than the Whedon version - def worth watching

Was a cracking show that, really enjoyed it
