ITV3 the best Bond film, with two of the best villains

What one was that? My fav is Goldfinger or Dr No, can never make my mind up. Any other suggestions?

It was From Russia With Love.

If I had to rank the Connery Bonds, in order if preference I would go:

From Russia With Love
You Only Live Twice
Goldfinger
Dr No
Diamonds Are Forever
Thunderball

Goldfinger and Dr No are the only Connery ones that make my top 5, with Casino Royale, Goldeneye, and Skyfall making up the rest.

That was only the Connery's, would take me awhile to do the whole series.

I though Skyfall was over hyped, took awhile to get going and was only the bit at the country mansion that was any good. Maybe I need another viewing.

Off top of my head top 5, in no order:

Casino Royale, Goldeneye, From Russia With Love, Licence to Kill and You Only Live Twice.

Don't mind losing, won in the end but the film is so inaccurate its a joke.

Seen something today that says that aprt from all the historical errors the main problem with the film is that all the shoes have metal eyelets ;)

Anybody have any suggestions of movies in say the last 5 years? Cheers.

*Not an action movie, preferably a comedy or a drama. Cheers.

Depends on how your taste run but try

7 psychopaths and stand up guys

Mort

Yeah I seen stand up guys, very good! Although I watched drama's like The Impossible and The Way Way Back (drama/comedy) and really liked them too.

I know its really hard to compare movies but is there any movies in the past few years like these haha? Cheers.

We're the millers is pretty good or "It's kind of a funny story" is a kind of odd comedy, I thought it similar to the way way back

Saw The wolf of wall street the other night and have to say what an incredible film it is and then to find out that its a true story makes it even better! But how has Di Caprio never won an oscar? He's consistently fantastic in almost every movie he does including this one, I really hope he wins an oscar some day because I truly think he deserves it

The Oscars are so badly rigged.

Di Caprio has done some good films. So has Gary Oldman and he's only ever had 1 nomination.

Yet Halle Berry, Julia Roberts and Sandra Bullock have all won best actress? I know there isn't much female acting talent around, but that's shocking.

I know the Oscars aren't the most exciting awards show but they tend to be fairly good in terms of best actor/actress. Just remember the films that gave those ladies little stautes. Roberts was Erin Brockovich, Berry in Monsters Ball and Bullock in The Blind Side all big dramas of their years and although a some haven't aged well still 3 great films.

This year American Hustle looks set to do great with the leading ladies looking to pick up a few awards.

Gravity(another amazing sandra bullock film) also looks set to win some sfx/directoral awards.

Personally I expect Judi Dench to get one for Philomena and I think Leo will get his for Wolf of Wall Street, would like Ben Stiller to be a serious contender for h9is work in Mitty.

Leo or Samuel should get best supporting oscar for dejango

Christophe Waltz got Best Supporting For Django Last year mate. They were all good but old Christophe stole the show for me.

I thought Leo was fantastic in Django, one of his best performances imo, especially when he cut his hand on the knife and just carried on with it, showed his quality by carrying on with the scene

He was absolutely mate he's a complete powerhouse of an Actor and that is just an incredible film everyone was good in it. I watched The Wolf Of Wall Street at the weekend and I just no longer take notice or study his excellence you don't need to it's so bloody obvious, in all of his movies he's so believable as any character it's always a completely natural transition every different film it's just expected now to be honest the guy is a genius. It gives me the Chance to see how good he makes other people look too and it's plain to see. I laughed the whole 5 minutes Mathew McConnaughey was talking to him in TWOWS & Jonah Hill was excellent too as was Kyle Chandler another Hit for Leo without a doubt just hope he's got lots more in him and doesn't plan on a different approach to Film any time soon.

I'm just glad to see other people notice what a genius Leo is, he really does seem to play any role effortlessly and with such conviction, really is my favourite actor of all time, really can do no wrong in my eyes, heard he's taking a break for a while just hoping its not too long!

Julia Roberts is an awful actress just walks around gurning all film. The worst thing in oceans twelve was her, and that was a poor film. She's just such a bad actress.

Sandra Bullock is an enigma she has done good films but she also makes some total toss as well. Its either poor career choices, a bad agent, or she's just limited talent wise and pigeon holed for certain roles.

Halle Berry, terrible in most films I've seen her in and usually a favourite for the razzies. The year she won it was politically motivated.

The other thing that bugs me about the Oscars is how films get released in January a month before the awards and go on to clean up. Totally ignores anything else released across the year.

Hey all,

Watched the life of Walter Mitty the other night and have to say it is one of the best films I have seen in a long time. Unlike others such as Gravity and Philomena where I felt immersed in the characters dilemma, Mitty took you on a journey of self discovery where everything and everywhere was an eye opener. The amount of times I gasped at the screen during some of the panaramic shoots was uncountable.

Was not the deepest of stories, in all honesty, but its execution was so perfect it has jumped into my top ten list.

Highly recommended to all of you out there.

For me he's the best a actor in Hollwood without a shadow of a doubt.

So finally the game God of War will be made into a movie. I'm stoked for this, the storyline in the game is brilliant and I've wanted it made into a movie for years. Finally Universal are doing so, I hope they do a good job of it.

So who are peoples choice for the role of Kratos? For me, it has to be Jason Momoa. He is just the perfect fit for him.

KiwiRed {Ed001's Note - I have never actually played the game, it has always been one of those I have looked at but never bought.}

It's a decent game Ed001, nothing exceptional but worth a play. The gameplay is actually that let's it down. I found myself just playing to get to the next cutscene so I could get more of the story and see where it went.

It should (in theory) make an excellent movie, if they do it right. I just hope they don't go for someone like the Rock or anyone like that for the lead role. Would be really disappointing.

KiwiRed {Ed001's Note - ah ok, that makes sense as it didn't look like a good game to play, hence why I never bothered buying it.}

While you're on Games. It's the 1st of the series I've played through Assasins creed Black Flag is absolutely awesome.

Larky Bear

I stopped playing Assassins creed after they got rid of the subject 16 storyline. They just got bored of it and made him commit suicide. I found that really lazy as I was really interested in seeing where they were going with it.

It really pissed me off to be honest.
