Who would win in a fight between the avengers and the x men?

If the XMen have Michael Fassbenders Magneto I'm going for them.

Larky Bear

I think either magneto would kick butt. iron man no problem, thor hmm big ol hammer eh.

"I have an army"

"We have a Hulk"

Says it all really. X-Men would get crushed. Plus Thor is an absolute beast but is portrayed wrong in the movies. He's the God of Thunder for #$@% sake!

Not so sure of that. Professor x and jean are powerful telekinetics, storm controls the weather, then there's the two dudes one does fire the other ice. I agree hulk would be the toughest to take down but doable. Iron man would be easiest, magneto just crushes him to death with his own suit. {Ed007's Note - Ppffttt there's one 'man' who could sort them all out - and not even break a sweat, the most would be some heavy breathing.}

Wolverines kicked Hulks ass a few times in the comics believe it or not lol. I stand by XMen aslong as they have magneto too lol.

Bond not a nice thing to say about your fellow eds {Ed007's Note - None of the Eds are that tough - they would struggle to beat up Olive Oyl.}

Speaking of Star Wars are you excited for number 7 Ed007?

They've just announced 2 extremely talented actresses to join the cast, as well as the 2 spin-offs which have been announced.

I'm cautiously optimistic.
ut I
KiwiRed {Ed007's Note - I am really looking forward to the new films but I'll admit to having apprehensions about Disney's input to them.}

08 Jun 2014 19:03:58
Bond are you worried about them ramming in some kiddy friendly tat merchandise because nothing can be as bad as jar jar binks. {Ed007's Note - I'm more worried about the whole films taking on a Disney feel about them, it's hard to put into words, the way everything is sugar coated and a bit cheesy with Disney, random celebrity cameos in outrageous situations (if Mickey Mouse, Miley Cyrus or that wee ****** Justing Belieber is in the new film I will hunt J.J Abrams down).
Jar Jar Blinks was by far the worst ever SW character, in fact is there any other character in film history more annoying than him??}

Easy Ed Jeremy Pivven in anything.

Larky Bear {Ed001's Note - I had to Google him to see who he was. Now I know who he is, I have to say you have a point, but he doesn't quite reach the levels of 'I want to punch him repeatedly in the head' sheer annoyance that Binks does.}

10 Jun 2014 13:51:23
Bond I think mileys disney days are over. And the original films had their share of cheesy moments. {Ed007's Note - Miley Cyrus is still under Disney's control via their extensive use of Monarch Mind Control. If you want some examples of how Disney sugar coat things have a read at here. There is no way that the original trilogy or the prequels would have ended the way they did if they were under Disney's control.}

10 Jun 2014 18:10:11
In fairness bond, you couldn't make those "fairy" tales into kids films, fairly awful content. {Ed007's Note - My point is though that once Disney get their hands on something it very rarely sticks to the original story. I'd hate to see Star Wars turned into High School Musical. Think how good a film about Boba Fett's life could be with Tarantino or David Lynch directing it?}

13 Jun 2014 13:17:35
I'm not really a fan of Fett, people go on about how bad ass he is, I understand he is in some of the spin off books. But I think people go overboard because he has a cool costume. In the films he doesn't actually do a lot and the one fight he has hrs taken out by accident. By a still blind ham solo. Frankly its underwhelming.

I get what your saying bond but the story has been written by Lucas and I imagine he was very specific on certain things before he signed. {Ed007's Note - I think you need to have read parts of the EU (Expanded Universe) to understand why a lot of people are keen to see a spin-off movie based on Boba Fett.
George Lucas is only a creative consultant on the new films, J.J. Abrams and Lawrence Kasdan took over as the writers of Episode VII from Michael Arndt because of time concerns.}

15 Jun 2014 17:39:43
As I said in the spin off books he's bad ass, but just on the films he does next to nothing.

I thought Lucas had written the story and it was a case of adapting it for a movie.

I don't usually rate Abrams but I actually think he's perfect for star wars.

My bad. I meant True Romance.

07 May 2014 18:35:38
Is it right for me to say, that the "egg plant" scene from True Lies, is possibly the greatest movie scene of all time?

It's certainly one of my greatest scenes of all time.

I really don't see what's wrong with getting into the spirit of the occasion and it's a great excuse to play with your lightsaber. ;)

May the 4th be with you. {Ed001's Note - since when have you needed an excuse??}

I think it is the best scene I've ever seen
