Anyone here really looking forward to Civil War? Myself, I am extremely hyped for it the trailer looks great the spiderman tease was brilliant imo and always liked the Winter Soldier as a character. Apparently this is going to give a big indication of the stories planned in phase 3 with the original avengers may be being phased out for the infinity stone. Will be interesting to see whose life they pull the trigger on if they do actually. Maybe Captn? Iron Man is too liked to kill him.
Gonna be a cracker hopefully especially after the abysmal disappointment of BvS.

She acted well in that. Picked up a few nominations. Profile will increase with a big film like this though.

Watched spectre last night.
Overall very good. Craigs best since casino Royale.
The bad points first. It was too long. The pre title sequence could have been trimmed by a couple of minutes. The car chase in Rome was too long and the train sequence could have been cut altogether.
The Dave Bautista character didn't really work for me.
The song is a good song, one of the best bond songs. However the singer is terrible. Its a song that suits a girls voice much better.
A good supporting cast, plenty if action, good plot, nice to see the quantum storyline resolved after seemingly abandoned in skyfall.
{Ed001's Note - was it too long or did it just feel that way because it was not very good? I never took note of the actual time it ran, but it felt slowwwww.
The car chase was one of the worst ever, so badly done and just did not work at all.
As for the song, it was horrible.}

As I said I though it was good, better than the disjointed quantum of solace.
Most car chases don't work because there's no tension.
The song does work if sung by a woman due to the vocal range needed. There's some good covers on youtube.

As for the car chases, they don't work because people try and make them arty and put music over the top. You have two beautiful cars, the music should come from the engine notes, that should be arty enough without needing to piddle about with silly shots like the pair of them looking at each other through their windows while the cars did a ridiculous drift.
As for the song, it is just dross. Pop rubbish.}

Yeah agree. An Aston martin looks good no matter so no point in faffing. The last car chase I thought worked well was the first Bourne movie when he's in Paris in a mini.
The villain, well I think that's often the biggest weakness in bond films. They veer from cartoonish like goldfinger or drax to weak and non threatening like Kamal khan or Dominic Greene.
The new blofeld was neither but didn't seem like this all powerful presence like the original.
For me the best main villain remains Sanchez from licence to kill.
{Ed007's Note - Warren Beatty with acne? And his bird Lupe (Talisa Soto) is THE nicest looking Bond girl ever, just beating Jane Seymour. I've never really got into Daniel Craig as Bond but I think that's because I've never liked him since I seen him in Layer Cake. Even putting aside my hatred of Craig Skyfall has got to be one of the worst Bond films imo, just what was the point of it?
It's not right or fsir that he's married to Rachel Weisz either :(

{Ed007's Note - I can't remember seeing her in anything else but she was gorgeous. Jane Seymour's still a bit of alright the last time I seen her too, my mate says she was the first ever MILF.}
