Darkest Hour- Really enjoyed it well acted and will be very surprised if it doesn't win an Oscar or two especially for Gary Oldman. It's amazing how we won the war if a lot of what was shown in this movie is true to fact.
Loved the underground scene.

Just been to see Rogue One. Wow took me back to 1977! . I won't spoil it too much but any true Star Wars will really enjoy it. Vader is really bad ass.

Has anybody been watching 11.22.63 the time travel jfk series. It is quite well done and stars James Franco, the aim of the show is to find out if Oswald was the lone gunman and if so stop him.

Watched The Reverent over Christmas. Wow a great film with a great performance from Di Caprio. Weren't keen after all the other movies showing at the moment but glad I watched this one . A bit difficult to watch the bear mauling scene but after that 8 out of 10.

It's a western basically involving the fur trading in the 1880s.Di Caprio is a tracker who knows where the buffalo will be but also has a native Indian son.The Indian's also know all about the buffalo's movement's setting up some great battles.Any more information will spoil the entertainment. Well worth a watch

Hi there yesterday went to see the heart of the sea the moby dick story in a special showing I won on a radio show. It's fantastic well worth a visit the cgi is amazing and it's a gripping roller coaster of a movie. It has a little bit of the Jaws story to it but sticks to the Melville book very well.

Ed I think it is set a decade before a new hope .Maul is killed in Star Wars Rebels by Ob1 when Luke is about 6 or 7 .I know what you mean though it is hard to keep up with everything Star Wars related. Rogue One still the best by a mile in my opinion

I went to a red carpet screening of A New Hope in 1977 aged 9. I have been a Star Wars nerd ever since. sorry.
